What’s included

We include everything, and we don’t nickel and dime you.

Support, security, Microsoft 365, and backup are all part of your monthly price, so you hand us the whole job and stop thinking about it.

Support

Your team gets help from technicians who know your setup.

Support by phone or remote session is unlimited during business hours, and we don’t charge per request, so your team calls about small problems before they turn into expensive ones.

On-site visits are included for offices around the metro, and we support remote teams anywhere in the country.

You’ll get to know us, and you won’t be explaining your office to a different person every time.

  • Unlimited support during business hours from real Iowa technicians, by phone, email, or remote session, plus on-site visits around the metro
  • Onboarding new hires with their accounts and computers, and offboarding people who leave, because an account left open is a security risk
  • Password resets, locked accounts, and permission changes
  • Installing and troubleshooting the everyday software your team uses
  • One number for any technology problem, even when another company supports that system, because we’ll tell you whether it’s ours to fix or theirs

Patching and maintenance

We find security holes and patch them without you having to ask.

We scan your computers and network for weak spots every two weeks and install updates on a regular schedule, so nobody in your office has to remember to restart.

  • Remote monitoring and management (RMM) on every computer and server
  • Windows and third-party app updates on a regular schedule (patch management)
  • Vulnerability scans every two weeks, and we fix what they find (vulnerability management)

Microsoft 365

We’re a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, so your licenses come from us, and we manage them.

We set up the security settings that protect your accounts, and we back up your email and files three times a day.

  • Microsoft 365 licenses matched to what each person on your team needs
  • Multifactor sign-in (MFA) on every account
  • Sign-in rules that block logins from unknown places or devices (Conditional Access)
  • Every computer enrolled and held to the same security settings (Intune and device compliance)
  • Your email domain set up so others can’t easily send mail pretending to be you (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC)
  • All of your mail, OneDrive, and SharePoint backed up three times a day, so we can restore a deleted file or mailbox
  • Backup of the files on every computer and server

Security

We watch for threats 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

That covers your computers, your network, and your Microsoft 365, and our security team responds within minutes once something looks wrong. They can cut a computer off from the network right away, and our technicians clean it up and tell you what happened.

That watch covers threats only, so for everything else, our technicians answer the phone Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

  • Antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) on every computer
  • A security operations center (SOC) that watches 24/7 and responds within minutes
  • Identity threat detection (ITDR) that watches your Microsoft 365 sign-ins for anything unusual
  • Logs from your computers, servers, and network equipment collected in one place and watched for warning signs (SIEM)
  • Risky websites blocked on every computer (web filtering)
  • Nobody on your team runs as an administrator, and we approve installs when someone asks (privileged access management)
  • Practice phishing emails and short lessons so your team learns to spot the real ones (security awareness training)

Email security

We check every email before it reaches your team.

Phishing and fake invoices usually show up by email, so we check every message that’s coming in, going out, or moving between coworkers, along with its links and attachments.

  • Incoming, outgoing, and internal mail checked for phishing, malware, and impersonation
  • Links and attachments checked before anyone on your team opens them
  • Suspicious messages held for review instead of landing in an inbox

Documentation and compliance records

We keep the records an auditor or insurer will ask for.

When an insurance form, an auditor, or an examiner asks how your computers are set up and maintained, the answer is already on file.

  • An up-to-date record of every computer and server we manage, ready for an audit
  • Reports showing that your updates, backups, and security scans ran on schedule
  • A heads-up before equipment or software reaches the end of its support, with help budgeting for the replacement
  • Advice on whether new software fits your business before you buy it

How we work with you

Every client runs our security setup, and you keep your own phones and printers.

Running the same security tools and policies everywhere is how our technicians already know your setup when you call. Beyond security, we work with what you have, including an in-house IT person.

If you have an IT person

You should keep them, and we’ll work as the department behind them, so they aren’t the only one who knows how the file server works.

If your team works from home

Remote workers get the same program, and each one costs less than someone in the office because they don’t need on-site visits.

If a regulator is involved

If your business works under SEC, HIPAA, FINRA, or similar rules, we add the documented IT controls those rules usually call for, and you’ll see what that adds to your price before you sign.
